Case Summary:
Mrs Rosie Chin, a 82-year-old woman, was admitted last night to hospital following an haemorragic stroke. First stroke, although has a past history of high blood pressure, long-term smoker and type II diabetes. In ED, an MRI confirmed a hemorrhagic stroke, with rupture of the left middle cerebral artery. The patient was taken to surgery immediately for clipping of the artery. They were transferred to ICU post-op and ventilated for 3 days. Transfer to the ward occurred after another 2 days. Today is day 10 since admission.
