Hip Fracture Patient Case
Our patient cases present a real-world patient scenario and accompanying learning activities.
Marie Button is a 81-year-old woman who was admitted to hospital 6 weeks ago after sustaining a fractured left neck of femur when she fell at home. She underwent surgery where the fracture was fixated later that day. After a 4 week stay in hospital, Marie was discharged home but required additional services. She is presenting today to physiotherapy outpatients for a review appointment.
